Malaga to Tarifa by Bus

Hi Jo,Found your email on a website. I am trying to get from Malaga airport to Tarifa. I know there are buses or trains, but could you give me a little more information? We arrive in Malaga very late, so I was wondering if you thought it better to stay in Malaga for the night, or do night trains run also? ALso, how long of a bus ride is it from Algeciras to Tarifa. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Kelley

Hi Kelley

The buses and trains dont run very late, till 11pm roughly. I think it would be more sensible to stay over night in Malaga and start fresh next day.

From Malaga Bus Station with this company http://www.estabus.emtsam.es/

There are 3 buses from Malaga to tarifa 7.30am 12 and 15.30. The journey takes around 3.5 hours.

Malaga to Estepona by Bus

Hi Jo, Would you please be able to find out for me bus times from Malaga airport to the El Presidente Apartments in Estepona. We arrive in Malaga at 20.20 on Thursday 17th July. Would we be able to get a connection this late? What I could make out on the internet is that we have to change in Marbella bus station. Found the Spanish website for bus times very hard to read. Our return flight home from Malaga airport on Thursday 24th July is at 21.00. Hope you will be able to answer my inquiry. Kind Regards,Tara Cummins

Hi Tara,

To go by bus you either go from Malaga Airport to Malaga City Main bus Station and get a bus or you get the Malaga Airport Bus to Marbella...all times here

From here you need to change bus to the Marbella Buses Click on Marbella and then scroll down till you see Marbella to Estepona. The bus runs every 40 minutes.

YOu could also think about getting a Malaga Airport Taxi or Malaga Airport Transfer but it will be more expensive.

Regards

Joanne

Did you lose a Green Photo Album at Malaga Airport

Hi Jo,

I saw your blog and wondered if you might be able to help….

My wife, daughter and a friend flew with EasyJet from Malaga to Gatwick on Sunday 22nd June 2008 (leaving Malaga at about 10pm). The flights were good, but the luggage handling was not….one suitcase was minus the handle and wheels, and another was missing altogether. Luckily the missing suitcase arrived on a later flight and it was delivered to us this morning. However, it contained a green photo album that does not belong to us. The album contains family photographs and comments in English, it looks as though it might have sentimental value and we think it belongs to a family living in the UK.

If someone is missing their photo album (and would like it back !), please contact me on 01252 838226.

Regards,Nick.

Hi, Thanks for the email I willl post it up on the messageboard and hopfully someone may email us back Regards joanne

Hi
I found your details on the internet and was wondering if you could help me.I need to get to my friend's house in Las Brisas in Nueva Andalucia. Taxisseem really expensive. Can you please tell me what my alternatives and ifyou think the cost vs. time factor makes a Malaga Taxi the best option in the end.I don't rally want to spend my whole holiday getting to my destination!
Thanks!Stephanie

Your only other option is to get the Airport Bus time table here but please do check direct https://malaga-airport-guide.com/Airport-Bus.html for 4.03 €uros and then a taxi. Or you will have to get a couple of buses.

You can also look at Private Transfers from Malaga.

Thanks Joanne. Would I take the airport bus straight to Puerto Banus? Or where would I have to get off? How long would it take? Is it direct? Thanks!Stephanie

Bus goes to Marbella bus station direct. then you will have to get a taxi from there. about 15 minutes. Regards Joannehttps://malaga-airport-guide.com/

Malaga Airport to Los Boliches

Hi,(got your email address via the Malaga airport website). Just wanted to know if you had any idea of an approximate cost of a taxi from the airport to Fuengirola / Los Boliches area. I’ve had a quote for a private car with B-met, at 60 Euros one way and wondered if a standard taxi would be cheaper? Last time we came it was 2 years ago, and we paid 30 Euros in a standard cab, so wondered if the fares had increased or ewre comparable to the private quote above? Thanks,Regards,Nik

Hi Nik

Here is a map from Malaga AIrport to Los Boliches its around 23 km. Taxis are around 1.30 €uros per km so I think taxis would be cheaper.

Parking at Malaga Train Station

Hello Jo: First of all, I want to commend you on your work on the website for the Malaga Airport! It is quite easy to follow and has been very helpful as it is written to address those very questions many people have. However, you provide more simple detail than one would normally find. Great job. My question to you at the moment regards parking. I will be leaving Spain for approximately 10 days. I noticed on the website that there is parking available at the Train Station. How do I find the train station parking? And, is there a shuttle to get to-from the Train Terminal to the Airport Terminal? (Do you suggest I contact other sources for this question?) Thank you very much

Hi Chris, At the moment as you drive to the airprott you can park in P3 or P4. P3 is better, just follow the signs. Then there is a shuttle bus to take you to the airport that runs every 10 to 15 minutes. Im not 100% certain about the parking at the train station...but there isnt a shuttle from there you have to walk across the bridge. I hope this helps. Everyone parks at P3, do leave plenty of time as there are works continuing Regards Joanne
