Cork to Malaga & Motorised Buggy Help

Dear Jo

My wife will be arriving at Malaga Airport on June 3rd at 10.45 from Cork, Ireland and since she has trouble breathing she will need one of your drive-about buggies to get her to baggage reclaim and then on to the taxi rank. Can you help me please?

Thanks

Lawrence Vail

You should really first speak to your airline as they are the ones you have the contract with.

However, everytime we come of an airplane there is always a motorised buggy waiting. You could also have a word with the airsteward just before you land to check that one will be there if you wish.

From Baggage Claim Im not too sure. You maybe able to have a chat with the guy who takes you from the plane and see if he can take you to the taxis. Just be pushy and ask. We have seem numerous able people slip these guys a fiver to take them!

Good luck I hope all goes ok

Malaga to Nerja by Bus

Can you please help me, my son is travelling out to Malaga tonight, and his transport has just let him down.

Can you please advise me on trains from Airport to Nerja or Bus.

Will be leaving Bristol airport 1900hrs approx.

thankyou

MY Reply...

Just caught before turning off!

Here are Buses in MalagaFrom Malaga Airport you can get the bus from the airport to the main bus station in Malaga. Then it says on this site that there is a bus from the bus station to Nerja. Take 1.5 horus.

Buses from Malaga airport to Malaga bus Station are quite regular every 30 minutes.

Then

From Malaga bus Station ther is a bus to nerja at 21.30 and 2300. I would suspect you need to get the 2300. If he misses this then he need to get a taxi which will cost quite a bit!

You could also just check with the Tourist board and see if they know of any better ways.

Tourist office Puerta del Mar 229780 Nerja, Spain
952 521 531

I hope all goes ok and it would be good to hear how you got on.

Malaga to Calahonda

Hello JoWas just wondering if you can tell me aything about this place and how wecan get there from malaga. We love the area of benalmadena and have visitedtwice previously.thanx for your helpCheersKelly

My Reply...

Hi Kelly

I dont know calahonda very well. I have there a couple of times but theres not really a centre to it. YOu have to go to Capapino Beach whihc is quite nice with lots of restaurants.

To get there from malaga you can either get a taxi or the train to fuengirola and then get a bus.

We also have an apartment in Nueva Andlaucia 10 mintues walk from Puerto Banus you can see more at http://www.lamaestranza.eu/ .

I think theres more to do around benalmadena, the port there is quite nice too.

I hope this helps. You can find all information about transport from Malaga Airport at http://www.malaga/ airport guide.com

Transfer from Malaga Airport to Benalmadena

Hi Jo,
There is a group of 9 looking for a transfer from Malaga Airport to Belemedina on Friday 4th May. Train or Airport bus would be great.
Can you help us with timetable and prices etc.?
Regards,
Denise Maher

My Reply...

Benalmadena is the correct spelling...just so you know what to look for!

At Malaga Airport there is a train Station. Its opposite the airport, but there are so many works going on that you may need to ask for directions to get there.

You can then go to Benalmadena by Train

There seems to be one every half hour.

Direct flights Nice to Malaga

Jo
I am attempting to find a flight from Nice, France, to Malaga on 27th April, but cannot find anything. The airport guide on your website says that there are flights between the two cities, but could you please tell me what airlines offer this?
Thanks

Natalie

Hi Natalie,

I cannot find direct flights, but www.iberia.com does do a flight from Nice to Malaga via Madrid. ALso www.airfrance.com but its not direct to Barcelona and there are lots of flights all day long from Barcelona to Malaga.

You can see more about Internal Malaga Flights Here
