Marbella Shopping

Marbella can be shoppers paradise, there is so much to choose from. Unfortunately, as with everywhere, large shopping centres are killing the high street and many shops are closing/ have closed down in Marbella. But many still remain and there is always someone re-opening. Within Marbella you have three main choices.

Around Marbella Town - both sides of the main road are lots of little boutiques and gift shop hidden within the narrow streets. Along the main road are the big names like Loewe, Ermenigildo Zegna, Adofo Dominguez and you also have the usual Zara, Mango, Oysho etc.

Elle has recently moved from Marina Banus to Marbella as well. Around the Old Town are lots of shoe shops including Charles Jourdan.

La Canada Shopping Centre on the outskirts of Marbella Town is a modern indoor shopping complex and houses all the main high street shops including Zara, Mango, Top Shop, Massimo Dutti, these are just a few.

La Cañada also has a multi screen cinema, amusement area and bowling. Parking is easy and the shops are open until 10:00pm Monday-Saturday.

The third option is Puerto Banus, from Louis Vuitton to Versace, all the Designer Shops in Puerto Banus are now herel. The main designer shops are all along the front of the port, Gucci, Fendi, Louis Vuitton etc.

If it rains you can always shelter in the five storey El Corte Ingles Department store which also has many designer concessions. El Corte Ingles is a kind of Spanish Selfridges with a hypermarket thrown in on the ground floor. Located directly opposite the store is Marina Banus, an indoor shopping complex with some more shops and cafes and then there are more Puerto Banus Shops.

Remember Marbella is a town which covers an area from Calahonda to San Pedro. Marbella Town is a lovely place to go to and a must if its your first time here.
