Malaga Airport Hotels

Unlike the UK where in some of the big Airports you have hotels connecting, Malaga Airport doesn't have this yet. If you don't mind staying a little further away from Malaga Airport, then there is also a selection of hotels in Malaga City - which is one of Europe's most underrated cities. Instead of staying in some faceless Malaga Airport Hotel, get in a cab and fifteen minutes later you will be in the centre of Malaga City.

Malaga City houses the famous Picasso Museum among its many places of interest. There are endless restaurants doted around an Old City Centre which seems to blend modern, clothes and fashion stores, with old rambling architecture and narrow alleyways, complete with bustling pavement cafes and tapas bars.

With the exceptional Malaga weather, (320 days of sunshine per year) its not difficult to imagine yourself people watching from a Cafe or spending a few hours R&R on one of the Cities beaches. Yes a City with a beach!

In early March or November it is possible to be sitting on the beach in your t-shirt whilst looking back at the vast snow capped mountain ranges that engulf Malaga.

The Ibis Hotel is situated close to the Airport, although you do need to go via car or bus. The Holiday Inn Express Malaga Airport Hotel is one of the newest hotels built, only opening last year in June 2008. Its also the nearest hotel to Malaga Airport just a couple of minutes drive by car or number 19 bus. It is also situated with good access to Malaga City and Malaga Beaches.

There argent any hotels directly onsite at Malaga AIrport but this hotel is one of the closest hotels to Malaga Airport there is. It is brilliantly situated for both Malaga Airport and also Malaga City at just a short bus or taxi journey. It has all the usual facilities of you would expect including a Golf Course very close by.
