Malaga Airport Parking

The construction of the new terminal building at Malaga Airport is almost complete, but please make sure that you allow plenty of time to park if you are meeting up with or dropping someone off for a flight.

There are currently over 2,000 parking spaces at Malaga Airport. The parking is split into three different areas: P1, P2 and the General Aviation parking area. P1 is the largest with 1,533 spaces, P2 has 968 spaces and General Aviation has just 47.

Parking for hire cars is currently located on on floor 1 of P2 (310 spaces) and floors 1 and 2 of P1 (743 spaces)

You pay for your parking at the machine with either credit card or cash before you get to your car when leaving the airport

As you approach Malaga Airport go straight on at the SAN MIQUEL roundabout and when you go past the BP garage on your left start to move into the LEFT hand lane. Short Term Malaga Airport Parking is approximately 50 metres on the left.

If you are collecting from arrivals hall in Malaga then try and park on the ground floor, If you are seeing someone off and need to go to departures then park on the Top floor.

Use the Short Term Parking for collecting or dropping off and the long term for trips of more than two days.

The tariffs for the parking at all Malaga Airport car parks are as follows:

First half hour or less, €0.63; second half hour or less, €1.00; all or part of each additional hour, €1.64; daily maximum up to 4 days, €18.00; daily maximum from the fifth day €14.40.

Parking Car Sur has been in operation since 1997 and used to be so cheap when we first came here at €2.70 per day and we parked there all the time. We always found the staff really nice and very helpful. Parking Car Sur is situated in San Julian at number 27, calle Montañez which is adjacent to Malaga Airport and just over the other side of the N-340 national road. 

Due to the growth of tourism at Malaga Airport, Parking Car Sur have expanded and improved their facilities and they offer both short-term and long-term parking as well as a variety of other services including car wash & valet, check-ups and repairs. They also offer a free 24 hour pick-up and drop-off service via a courtesy bus which transfers customers to and from Malaga Airport and also the docks at Malaga.

Secure undercover parking is available and all cars are fully insured. They operate 24 hours a day and are open all year round. They offer highly competitive rates which start at €5.50 per day, €90.00 per month and €700 per year.

If you are planning to park at the car park for any length of time then I would park in one of the many long term car parks.

All of the long term car parks have a shuttle bus to the airport and when you return to collect your car you simply call them after you have collected your luggage and they will met you with their bus.

One company, Easyparking offers covered parking for about €7.50 per day with a 30% discount after 22 days. All cars and premises are fully insured and they also provide a car servicing and valeting service.

As you drive towards the airport they are on the right with all the car hire places. Look for the large green sign for "Easy Parking"

Another off airport car park is controlled by Chips Away who offer a free shuttle bus service from and from the airport (which is just 5 minutes away) and currently charge just €5.00 per day.
