From Malaga Airport to Torremolinos according to Google Maps it is 7km, normally about a 10 minute journey.

 

Come out of Malaga Arrivals Hall and you will see the taxis outside. The Malaga AIrport Taxis will probably charge you the minimum charge from Malaga Airport which is about 15€uros.

The journey from Torremolinos back to Malaga Airport will be a little less. To call a taxi from Torremolinos the Taxi number is 0034 952 380 600.

To get a bus to Torremolinos from Malaga Airport you need to go to Malaga Train Station and then change for a bus to Torremolinos. This is quite a long way for such a short journey and wouldn't recommend it. You need bus station Subestación de Autobuses Muelle Heredia Avda. Manuel Agustín Heredia s/n. 29001 Málaga.

The Malaga Airport Train goes straight to Torremolinos. It takes 11 minutes and trains run from 05.34 to 22.34. Torremolinos is 5 stops from Malaga Airport. Costs no more than 2.50€.

To hire a car at Malaga isn't as expensive as many think. You can get a quote at the top of this page. Once you have your car the journey is just 10 minutes drive to Torremolinos.

If you are staying in a busy resort and guaranteed great weather then its probably cheaper just to get the train. If you are coming when weather may be bad and you want to travel to say Marbella etc then it could be worth hiring a car.

The absolute cheapest way to travel from Malaga Airport to Torremolinos is by Train.

The quickest way to Torremolinos from Malaga Airport is either train or Private Transfer or taxi. Once you are at the train station which is a little walk across from the airport it is just an 11 minute journey.
