Circus in San Pedro Marbella
Every year we see the circus is on in San Pedro near Marbella. It's on the Feria Ground near the market and had never been before, but a friend called us and asked if we fancied going and we did. It was better than we thought it was going to be, and the kids enjoyed themselves, (which is important) but personally I don't think I will go again.

Getting to San Pedro
San Pedro is just a few minutes drive from Puerto Banus depending on traffic. If you continue on the N340 towards San Pedro, take the next major turn off after Puerto Banus and continue to drive around. You will come to a large industrial area where there is a large feria ground and also a market on Thursday mornings.
Buying Tickets for San Pedro Circus
The last time we went to the circus here there were three shows a day at noon, 15:00 and 17:00. You can buy tickets at the desk just outside the circus. Prices vary depending on where you want to sit, but you can more or less see from all seats. prices range from €10 to €25. Kids 2 or under get in free.
In the Circus
Once inside, we took our seats, there were lots of us, but we went to the 12 noon show so it was still very early . . . so not too many people. A lady came round with a baby tiger, taking it to all the children whilst another woman took photos . . . it's kind of obligatory and so is paying there and then! It was €15 for the photo but it was very cute.
Once the show started during the first bit was lots of animals. If you are against animals being in circuses then don't go! There were tigers, donkeys, camels, ponies etc all doing the usual stuff. I did feel a little worried as there were lots of tigers in such a small space in case they escaped! But it's all part of the show and these circus people really did seem to love the animals.
Then the second part was Trapeze Walking, Juggling, Acrobats, Dancing etc. Its really was very good and my daughter and all her friends had a great time. The music was really loud, but really got you in the mood. The whole show was around 2 hours. It was good but I don't think I will bother going again.
