Malaga Airport to Almeria & San Jose
Hi Jo, I saw your email address offering advice on the Malaga Airport Guide. We are a family of 4 and will be arriving in Malaga from Rome to stay with friends in SAN JOSE. What is the best idea/way to get to Almeria and then San Jose? How far is it ? Some people say train to Almeria and then hire a car others say get a car and just drive all the way. The plane gets in at 12 midday. We have no experience with this part of the world (being a family of australians) so any advice will be great. Thanks Peter
Hi,Personally, Id hire a car. Road are pretty good here. You could get a train, the website is www.renfe.es you cant go direct you would need to change, best to give them a call. Here is a map from Malaga Airport to Almeria. Where abouts is San Jose? as its coming up the other other direction. Regards
