Malaga Airport Guide

Hello,

I got your email from a search on the internet about Malaga travel.

I'm planning on traveling to Marbella next Spring.

I want to take day trips to Gibraltar and possibly Morocco. Is that possible in one day?

Also, from Malaga, what's the best way to get to Marbella. Is there a train or is a car better? What about from Malaga to Grenada....is there a train or is a car better?

Hi Grace,

1. From Malaga to Marbella...there is a bus that goes to Marbella Bus Station for around 4€. from here you will need to get either a bus or taxi to where you are staying. Or you could get an Malaga Airport Transfer. Trains stop at Fuengirola.
A Malaga Taxi will cost you around 65€

Sometimes to Hire a car costs not much more than a taxi from and to the airport. If you want to go to Morrocco and Gibraltar I would hire a car-
2. From Marbella to Gibraltar is around 1 hour drive. You can read more on this link.

3. To get to morocco, you can get a boat from Tarifa which is around 30 minutes passed Gibraltar. You can take to car on I think if you wish.

As you want to do a bit of travelling I think Hiring a car would be best. I think it may be a bit too much to do both Gibraltar and Morocco in the same day. Gibraltar isnt big, but the caves and monkeys at the top of the Rock are great to see.
