Malaga Airport Guide

Hi Jo,

I was just browsing your site and I liked what I saw.

Although I'm English I now live in Bermuda, I had family in La Linea years ago, in fact I haven't been there in over 20 years.

I can see there has been a lot of development. We were planning on taking a trip there in the summer next year, now that my girls are learning Spanish in school and my wife has heard me talk about the region.

My question is, we would like to stay in the La Linea area and not too far up the coast. Can you recommend a nice hotel to stay at. We are used to the higher end rooms and do not want to stay in a budget hotel. I have looked on the net and they all seem to be the same. What can you recommend.

I dont know that area very well to be honest,

However, there is The Rock Hotel in Gibraltar. But the other day my husband had a meeting with someone in a new hotel in La Linea. He said it was quite nice, like a Holiday Inn Hotel . Iberostar La Linea
