Sixt Car Hire Malaga Airport

Hope you can help!
Because of the huge construction happening at Malaga it has become a little daunting for access & egress.
We have a car booked with Sixt but notice their office is off-site.
Where exactly is it please? [their website just tells “Garcia Morato”]. Is that far? Is there a shuttle bus?

Sorry for the delay, i hope i am in time.
Sixt at the moment is outside of the airport on the opposite side of the road. They may have a courtesy bus. It would be best to give them a call and check before walking.

Hi. I have exactly the same problem and have just asked exactly that question to the Car Hire Company but no reply so far. If you have completed your journey, please DO post your comments regarding how you fund this company. We go to Malaga frequently, and have never been told to go off-airport to pick up the car.If th emoderator has an email address for you, I would be ever so grateful if he could contact you and ask how you got on finding the office on that street. Hasta luego!

Yesterday I made an enquiry about renting a car through SIXT and sought help as to where the SIXT office was. Another passenger had requested the same information from you, and when I received my reply from Argus Car Hire, I asked if I could forward it to you. This information was not available at the time of booking, and the confirmation did not mention how to find the SIXT office, except just gave the street address, which I know to be across the road from the airport, and whilst not far to walk, under present circumstances with the construction work, and carrying luggage it would be a nightmare. Therefore, I was pleased to receive the following advice:
Dear Sir / Madam,
Re: SIXT Car Rental at Malaga Airport
When you arrive at the airport and claimed your luggage head straight for
the exit. DO NOT follow the rent a car sign. Once you have exited the
luggage hall keep to your right hand side. Leave the arrivals hall and
walk along the outside of the building for approx 50m to the courtesy bus
stop. A Sixt shuttle bus will then collect you and take you to the branch.
The shuttle bus journey take 5 mins maximum.
The car will need to be returned to the branch and you will then be
transported back to the airport by the shuttle bus.
many thanks for this information just a ahame i had to search on here about it rather than being providedwith the information by the company
